http://www.arc-conference.com/An exhibition + concert + charitable auction being held on Sunday 17th September to raise funds for autism research. All the artists and musicians involved have an autistic spectrum disorder, some have been diagnosed for years, some only recently diagnosed. I read an interesting newspaper article about one of the artists recently. Not cheap, but I think worth it.
The following day is an Autism Research Conference. It is also coincidentally the first day of my maternity leave. Again not cheap (and incurs a late booking fee for booking after 31st May), but could be very interesting indeed.
Both events have cheaper tickets for autistic people and their families, which I could claim. I guess I should see if anyone else in the family is interested in either or both events.
