Packing
Last night I packed for Charles and I to go to the Big Session where we'll meet [info]atreic and [info]emperor. ([info]fanf is staying home due to his strange dislikes of camping and folk music.)

We are going by bus to the station, then train to Leicester, then 10 minute walk to the site. I will have:
  • Buggy containing Charles
  • 45-litre rucksack containing:
    • clothes
    • sleeping bags
    • waterproofs
    • sunhats
    • suncream
  • Shoulder bag containing:
    • sling
    • nappies
    • wipes
    • muslins
    • 2 baby books
    • water bottle
  • Tent in carry bag
  • Pockets containing phone, wallet, keys, tickets (train and festival), camera, spare battery for camera
I still need to pack into the rucksack: toothbrushes, toothpaste, 2 small towels and shampoo (there are showers on the site, and I'd like to be prepared to use them).

The buggy is a useful safe waterproof place to leave Charles while I pitch and take down the tent - during the festival I plan to leave it folded inside the porch area of the tent. The tent and shoulder bag can probably wedge into the basket underneath the buggy for travel between home and station and station and festival. If not, I can certainly carry them as well as the rucksack and push the buggy (though it's faffier).

What am I missing? Could I leave any of it behind? (Charles is not an option for exclusion!)
